K-9 Special Teams is a non-profit canine search and rescue organization based in McMinnville, Oregon. We serve Oregon and SW Washington as an independent agency as well as operating under the jurisdiction of Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office. In addition to Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office, our teams can be activated through any Oregon or SW Washington County Sheriff’s Office or other law enforcement agency conducting a search and rescue or recovery mission.
K-9 Special Teams is staffed by volunteer members from the local communities who donate their time and money for the community. We currently train our canines in tracking, air scent and human remains detection.
