COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Safety and prevention are the foundation for saving lives in our line of work. We believe this to be as important as training our personnel and canines. K-9 Special Teams reaches out to the surrounding communities by participating in safety fairs, sportsmen shows, working with Boy and Girl Scouts, holding wilderness safety classes with the local schools, and offering a program we call train-along’s which takes applicants from the community out on our training exercises to learn about wilderness survival and how canines work.
